Brandon Wade, an Ann Arbor native who was once a Titan recruit, is transferring from Duquesne to U of M as a walk on. Here's the story of how Wade ended up at Michigan

One area that Coach Howard has definitely impacted the Wolverines is low post play. Centers Teske and Davis both are much improved scoring down low, ESPECIALLY Teske. I always said Howard had great low post moves and apparently he's passing that on.

Michigan's up and down season is back on the way down, as they dropped a game at Minnesota today. The day after I praised how well Jon Teske has been playing, he had a subpar game with only nine points. Michigan has gone 4-5 in their last nine. After jumping from unranked to #4 early in the season, they will probably be back out of the top twenty five in the next poll. www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/game?gameId=401166166

Michigan got a commitment today from Jace Howard, the coach's son. Jace chose the Wolverines over Princeton and Brown. Part of me was hopeful that the Titans would land Jace. I know he's not considered a high major recruit, and my hope was that his brother's positive experience at U of D, along with the proximity to his Dad, might help make him a Titan. Unfortunately, it was not to be. n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2020/jace-howard-254138

Wow. Senior leader, starting point guard. I hope it is nothing serious.

Michigan got a badly needed win at Nebraska last night. The Huskers aren't good (although I think they will be in the coming years), but the Wolverines were in desperate need of a win, period. The four game losing streak they were on was the longest they've experienced since the 2014-15 season. A second half 21-4 run allowed the Wolverines to take control.
In Simpson's absence, Eli Brooks stepped up, with 20 points and four assists. Detroiter David DeJulius, who many expected to be the guy to step up last night, only scored five points on 1-7 shooting. I mentioned a while back that Teske was playing much better under Howard, but he's hit a bit of a lull. His numbers are still up across the board, but he's been held to single digits in three out of the past five games. I think he misses Isaiah Livers, who has missed multiple games with injury and it out again, indefinitely.
Didn't think I would be saying this before the season started, but the Wolverines have a tough game against Rutgers this coming Saturday.

Kid crashed a car in the middle of the night that was not his (can’t we presume that using the AD’s car is a benefit!?), lied to police about his name, and somehow escaped having to submit to a breathalyzer. One game suspension? The NCAA and the University of Michigan are both total jokes.
