Add Atiba Taylor, Jr of Youngstown State to list. Taylor was supposed to be a pretty good "get" for YSU. He was getting a lot of interest from big name schools in his sophomore year in HS-- Kansas State, Rutgers, St. Joe's, UConn, Seton Hall, Temple all purportedly offered. But he didn't seem to improve over his last 2 years of high school, or this year. He ended up playing just 62 minutes all year, a majority of those in November.

So far no announcements of anyone who played a significant role on any team.

I've placed a question mark after Carson Warren-Newsome of Milwaukee because verbalcommits just updated his name without any destination school; but the site has not removed Pima JC from his destination on the master transfer list. Total transfers nearing 350.

Milwaukee G Bryce Barnes is leaving the program. Grad transfer with one year to play. I'm pretty sure Barnes was only a true junior this year, which would mean he'd have to sit unless he's completing his degree in three years. Barnes was the first player signed by former Milwaukee coach LaVall Jordan. Update: I see at least one source says he indeed graduating early, which would give him immediate eligibility.

Not a transfer out of the league now, but I noticed that Jordan Andrews is transferring from South Alabama. He was a member of the HL all-freshman team in 2016 while at Youngstown, but transferred after the season to South Alabama. His numbers there have been very mediocre--6.2 points as a redshirt sophomore, 4.1 this year as a redshirt junior. Grad transfer with 1 yr to play. I'm not mentioning this with the idea we'd have any interest, just more noticed a former HL kid of some promise again on the move.

According to verbal commits, in addition to Bryce Barnes filing to be a grad transfer, Ralph Bissainthe is going JUCO at Florida Southwestern in Naples Florida, the same JUCO attended by Tank Hemphill of Green Bay.

Big freshman transfer out of Wright State. Malachi Smith now added to the list. He was in the Raiders' rotation this season and along with Skylear Potter was thought to be part of the future of the team now that the Raiders graduated three starters. He was named to the HL All-Freshman team.
Against us in Dayton in February, he had 14 points, 6 assists and 4 rebounds.

Perhaps this is the new mid-major version of "one and done:" they try to go to the P6.
