Huge if true. Remember right after the HL tournament he, Brechting, and Hill-Maas all vowed to return. I suspect Jaevin meant it at the time but people are whispering in his ear. The grad transfer thing just sucks for mid-majors. And while I'd like to be better than OU for a change, I want the Horizon to keep players like Cumberland and get better.

Jack Hendricks, a preferred walk-on at Wright State, from Fairmont HS, is also leaving Wright State.

He probably figured out he wasn't getting an education. MT where did you see Norris was leaving?

Two of the 5 members of this year's HL All-Freshman team have entered the transfer portal.
Justice is seeking to be a grad transfer. He was 2nd team All-HL in 2018-19 season.

Norris did not appear in verbalcommits until about an hour after the following tweet appeared.

I have not been a fan of the Horizon league for a long time and have been an advocate of getting out ASAP even to what is considered an equal or lesser league. It looks like what the member Universities are unable to recognize their players are capable of seeing it is run like a rec. league. I wonder if league will have enough players left to complete the upcoming season.

If Tony Paul tweets some news it’s as good as Monopoly money.

If Tony Paul tweets some news it’s as good as Monopoly money. On the OU board, they seem pretty sure it's true, and even suggest more might be coming. Some at least claim to speak from knowledge of the situation. It is interesting--it was just a month ago all the potential grad transfers were talking about how they were going to stay. OU ended the year on a pretty good note, winning 5 in a row before losing to NKU in the HL tournament. They've got all the key parts back (or did until Cumberland announced, but even with that still have a lot back). So it would seem a good situation. It's not far from his home and family. So what's up? Norris had a nice freshman season--but I doubt good enough to parlay it into a P6 offer. On the other hand, another year lighting up the HL might get him that offer. So on the surface, this transfer seems a bit strange.

Two of the 5 members of this year's HL All-Freshman team have entered the transfer portal. Justice is seeking to be a grad transfer. He was 2nd team All-HL in 2018-19 season. Another punch to the Horizon gut. This article talks about his leaving Vanderbilt: [Justice] was drained mentally and broken physically. Raymond [his father] wanted his son to finish the semester. He didn't want him to quit the team. But every day, Camron seemed less and less like his old self. "At the time I could see his demise," the elder Justice said. So just before Christmas during his sophomore year, Camron packed his belongings and left Tennessee ..." It continues, ""I felt like I was at a time where I was struggling," he said. "It was crazy for me because I was struggling to find passion to go to the gym. That's when I knew. That's when I told my dad — I gotta change something up." According to the article, "Going to IUPUI gave Justice a chance to heal. Justice took off the semester following his transfer and he sat out the entire 2017-18 season per NCAA transfer rules. "I found out a lot about myself during that down time," he said. "Obviously when I made the change and decided where I wanted to go, [IUPUI] coach [Jason] Gardner told me straight from the jump, 'I'm going to let you do what you do this year. Find your mojo. Get your swagger back.' I really think he was a backbone. Letting me go back out there and find out that I could still play the game at a high level." It sound like he decided on IUPUI mainly to play with his junior high and high school friend Evan Hall, who graduated this year. But still, it doesn't show much loyalty to the school or coach that gave him the chance and got him turned around.
