Did we lose him to the recruiting machine that is Spire Academy?

Hmmm. I thought Rosser was a good recruit so I am sorry to see these latest developments. If he's not going to be a Titan, I hope thing work out for him elsewhere.

Should we also be concerned about Riley? He also was not mentioned by Coach Davis in his Aug 20 announcement of new recruits.

He is all about Detroit and our Titans. With fairly recent tweets. But you don't want these guys on Twitter all day. You want them studying hard and in the gym. Two weeks to the official start of college basketball season.

Rosser is playing well for Tennessee Prep Academy. Some if his individual game stat lines - as tweeted by his coach: 10 pts 7 rebs 4blks 2 ast 1 steal 15 pts 7 reb 3 blk 17 pts 10 rebs 5blks 3 stl 12 pts 8 rebs 20 pts 10 rebs 3 ast 1 blk I'm wondering what circumstances led to Rosser leaving (Academics/Homesick/Etc??) and if there would be a mutual desire to try again as part of the class of 2019. Knowing our luck, we probably had a real hidden gem and he'll end up signing with a high major program

Bent played two years at Providence and averaged less than 5ppg. Gilbert was even less productive, averaging 2ppg in 2 yrs at Georgetown. I wouldn't call them hidden gems.

LT, I didn't take the time to look up their stats, but they did sign to play at schools that could be considered to be at a higher level athletically than UofD. Also, Gillery was good enough to play 25 games with the Sacremento Kings in 1988-1989.

Those two players would have made a huge impact for the Titans. As far as Bent and Gillery go, they were at higher level programs, especially G'Town. More than a few guys who would have been good for other teams were stuck on the bench on those 80s Hoyas. I would have liked to see what both players would have done for us.
