I saw Frank play at MSG several times after I graduated in ‘69 and returned to NYC. He was an excellent shooter and all around player.

R.I.P. I would have seen Russell play for the Titans but was too young to remember him live at all. My sense looking back at the record, though, is that he was often underrated when discussing Titan greats, in part because lots of people like to forget the Harding years, and in part because Harding's style of play--unlike his that of his predecessor Bob Calihan--didn't allow for a lot of gaudy individual statistics. Seems like Frank led an exemplary life. udtitanbasketball.freeforums.net/post/20853

Frank was a nice guy, met him a few times on campus. He was drafted by the Bulls, I think, and returned to campus in the off-season to continue working on his degree.

Lord, the Titan family has said goodbye to some serious back court star power over the past year. RIP, sir.
