Georgia Southern is the 4th school in that MTE. So, we will play Kentucky, Richmond, and Georgia Southern as part of this multi-team event. The entire MTE counts as one game.
So, we have the 22 game Summrizon League schedule, the 3-game MTE (Kentucky, Richmond, GA Southern) counting as one game against our schedule maximum. Road game against Toledo. Likely road games versus SIUE, Northeastern, and EMU. Two more non-con home games and hopefully a road buy game against a Big Ten or Big East team.

Per the site below, the 20-21 game is at EMU with a 21-22 game at Calihan watchstadium.com/future-college-basketball-non-conference-schedules-for-2020-and-beyond-11-20-2019/

You've got too many games: It's 20 conference games 2 Summit match up Toledo, EMU, Northeastern, SIUE return games That's 26 games. 3 game MTE counts as game 27. Only allowed 1 more--probably a buy game. So it will be 30 games (or possibly 31 if UK added another team to it's round robin--sometimes they'll schedule non-D1 teams, for example). That leaves just one more possible game, probably, as you suggest, a buy game. Note that likely gives us just 2 home games--1 in the Summit challenge, and 1 in the Kentucky MTE. I don't like the Summit match up at all. 2 games, coupled with now a 20 game conference schedule, there is very little room to schedule interesting opponents assuming you want to play 2-3 buy games. Final thought--is it possible we only play 1 Summit game, given our league has 11 teams and theirs 9, and we finished near the bottom of the standings? That would free up another game.

This would seem like a good season for a buy game with Michigan — the short distance eliminates need for overnight travel, allows easy options if game needs to be rescheduled for some reason, gets UDM some revenue, more interest from local media than if U-M played an out-of-state cupcake, etc.

The league home schedules are looking a touch better than in recent years, with Southern Mississippi visiting UIC, Cincinnati playing at NKU, Valpo going to UIC. It'll be a shame if they don't come off due to COVID.

Kinda makes us getting a guaranteed game there a lot less impressive.

That should complete their schedule, except for the specifics of their Summit Challenge and MTE opponents.
