At this point, it looks like we have 2 scholarships available if Alex T is able to play this coming season. (I hope that is the case.) It will be just one scholarship available if the unannounced guard who is apparently winding his way through the admission process comes through.
Personally, I would like to see us add a front court player or two with the scholarships we have left, particularly transfers with D1 experience or JUCOs likely to contribute in year one. We've got height on the roster, more than last season for sure, but it's mostly "young" height, inexperienced and developing. I'd love to find an upper class transfer like Liddell, who was not a high demand transfer but outperformed expectations for us on his way to being one of the most productive players in the conference. We need some junkyard dog type players to do the dirty work on the glass. I'm not sure where we would find those players, given that most of the likely impact players have already committed elsewhere or have more attractive options, but I am hopeful that the staff has their eye on some late qualifying players that will be looking for a place to land once they get their academic affairs in order.
Go Titans.

Hopefully we already have, Sam. Geeter could be the traditional local kid who comes back to the Titans and lives up to his high school billing. He was in the talk for Mr. Basketball four years ago and had offers from Georgetown and Missouri -- and was expecting one from Michigan.
Beyond that, we have three 6-foot-9 freshmen; maybe a blue-collar player in that group.

With the questions that we still have on the roster (Alex T's status, the "unidentified" guard, whatever else we don't know), I noticed that there are a couple of interesting players still available. Both have D1 experience, and both are Detroiters.
First is Jason "Deuce" Drake. He was a recruit in the class of 2022, rated a three star prospect by 24/7. He transferred after seeing action in only 16 games in his freshman year on that solid Cleveland State team. They were very deep at guard. He spent last season at Butler Community College in Kansas, putting up 10 points and 4 assists while shooting 42% from three on a team that went 22-10. He's a 6 foot guard.
Next is Javante Randle, who played at EMU this past season. He's a familiar name. He's 6-11 and played sparingly at Eastern, putting up roughly 2 points and 2 boards in 7 minutes per game over two seasons. He hasn't shown much in his post high school career, but he's still 6-11 and a change might do him good.
Anyway, that's just some speculation as we wait for additional news and an official roster. Go Titans.
