Baldwin averages 11 ppg..shoots 34%FG…26% 3 pt…..sits out 1/2 the season with unknown ailments and is rewarded with a 1st round selection by the NBA champs. What a bum! I’ll give him 2yrs in the league…..then he can join Patrick Sr as he will probably be gone from Gtown by then. So much for work ethic.

This isn't the ultra competitive NBA of the 1980s. Baldwin will likely have a long, lucrative career. And if there were questions about his character and work ethic, the Warriors would not have spent a first round pick on him.
Baldwin has been held back by injuries for two years. The Warriors will give him time to heal and develop.

Potentially a very good pick up for the Panthers, if he can get a waiver. Rand is a very athletic 6-8 forward. Averaged 10 and 8 in his final year at JUCO before committing to Memphis. Only played 3 games there; not sure why. Saw action in 29 games with Oregon State, playing 13 minutes per game. Does not take bad shots, shooting 60% from the floor in JUCO and 54% last season at Oregon State. Cracked double figures a few times with the Beavers and averaged 1.1 blocked shots in his limited minutes. Another one of those "I'd be happy if we got him" guys.

I don't follow the NBA draft much, so when I saw this post I thought, "Oh, Baldwin tranferred to Marquette." (They used to be the Warriors. That shows how old I am.) Surprised when I scrolled back and saw that he was drafted by the NBA. I didn't think he had that great a career at Milwaukee.

If the injury bug doesn’t get him I think he might be the steal of the draft. He has a really complete game and an almost perfect size. He is going to play with and learn from some of the best teammates available. I personally do not care for Draymond Greens antics but he sure can play basketball and fill a role.

The Warriors will bring him along the right way. www.google.com/amp/s/sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/warriors-patrick-baldwin-jr-coaching-032818626.html

Looks like the wheels are coming off of the Milwaukee Mirage Wagon. They got beat by 20 at Robert Morse tonite. Bobby Mo. led just about the whole game. I think that’s 3 in a row for the Panthers. They really miss Browning who was on the sideline in a walking boot. I think he is their glue guy and top defender.

Learic Davis, who just completed his freshman season at Tennessee State, is transferring to Milwaukee. Davis is a Beer City native who was rated a 3 star recruit in high school. Looks like he was a red shirt this past season. verbalcommits.com/players/learic-davis

Milwaukee's Jalen Johnson has entered the transfer portal. Also, Milwaukee has dismissed sophomore Justin Thomas from the team for a violation of team rules.
