With their 17th straight loss this season on Saturday, the Titans currently are the #360 team in D-1, just two notches from the bare bottom. Do you think they'll fall to #362 at any point this season?

MVSU is such an awful team. I think even if we lose outright, we can’t hit 362. I’m not an expert in the NET, but you have to consider that from here on out, MVSU is playing SWAC teams and we are playing HL teams. Because our opponents are higher ranked, I don’t see us slipping below MVSU. I don’t see MVSU winning a game.
It is a valid question though, and worthy of a thread. Vowels got the program to this state of disgrace.

If Stone, Alex and Oton come back we should be able to win some games. If Stone is out for the rest of the year its going to be ugly.
I voted that we can win but that is on the assumption that Stone will be back.

Do you think they'll fall to #362 at any point this season? This is probably the first time this season I thought that being at the bottom of the NET and going winless is a possibility. This is a hard question to ask, but it's a legitimate concern. It's crazy to think this now, but during the summer, before the losses of a couple of announced players, I thought that a winning record in conference play was within reach. Since that point, the roster has fallen apart in front of our eyes. Stone hurt. Jank hurt. Johnson and Hurst out for the year. Kuac with a long recovery from injury. Unexplained departures of Coleman and Tovar. Alex's visa issue. It's been one thing after another. Again. Commissioner said this recently: We're in danger of looking like that IUPUI team a couple years ago, when they had to call for walk-ons in mid-February because they could barely get 5 guys on the court. Rather than boycott this team, I wish we could get 3500 to turn out for just one game to show support.
He's right. The players on this team deserve our support, regardless of how you feel about the coaches, the AD, the administration, etc. They play hard and they don't seem to have given up. Be nice to see fans turn out and show support for that effort.

The SWAC is really weak, Southern (8-7) is the only team in that conference with a winning record. MSVS lost by just three points last Saturday. I think odds are they have a better chance of getting a win before the Titans do this season.

MVSU might end up getting a win before us, but that wouldn’t necessarily bump them ahead of us in the NET. It would depend on how bad their opponent was and if it was a home or away game. If they beat one of the worse SWAC schools at home, MVSU might remain at #362. Siena, IUPUI, and Coppin State all have two wins, and they sit at 357-359 in the NET. Of course, one of IUPUI’s wins is against us, which really isn’t a win at all as far as the NET is concerned … or anyone who knows jack s#it about basketball.

Of the three, Stone is most likely to be available on Saturday. I base this on MD’s post game interview where he stated that Stone could have played last week. Keep in mind that Coach is not a reliable source of info as he has shown many times in the past. Oton was to have returned to practice this past Monday, but he has been out for so long that I would not expect him to be ready for Saturday. Alex will be arriving later this week. Between the weather and Boeing’s problems, I doubt he’ll be here on time. Then he’ll need some time to get up to speed. I still don’t believe that there is an additional player from foreign lands. Coach has never provided a name or country of origin.. As for Oaks, he played one minute on Saturday. He was inserted into the game early in the first half. He committed a turnover, gave up a dunk and was immediately pulled from the game, never to return. I don’t have much faith in our coaching staff to develop this young man.

The "final four" bottom of the NET currently includes two Horizon squads. In descending order:
359. Detroit Mercy 360. Coppin St. 361. IUPUI 362. Mississippi Valley
