I’m just gonna say it. I think our odds of receiving an at large bid are very low.

Maybe we can get into the CBI if we play the "disrespected" card again, after the way AD was treated last season as he chased Pistol Pete BTW, the Maravich Family is pretty awful. One of the sons said of Caitlin Clark: "Dad would be proud, but it's not an apples to apples comparison," (or something similar). Of course it's not an apples to apples comparison. As we all discussed ad nauseum last year, it never is when players from different eras are being compared. This time they had no chance to STOP the record from being broken, but still tried to taint it afterward. I just don't understand them. Pistol will never be diminished. But the reporters should have been writing about how she passed AD's record this week. Instead, Pistol got the love, not AD, who is just as deserving. I realize this is an unrelated rant. Sorry.

I actually totally agree here. If it was Keydren Clarke at 1 no one would even ask him how he felt about losing the record. Pistol is a trailblazer of basketball and will never be forgotten, why they think they need to further try to enshrine him by putting down kids accomplishments 50 years later is crazy to me. And why they won’t acknowledge Pistol was a free throw merchant also blows my mind

Not to be THAT guy, but AD did not have a record to pass. Maravich had the record.
