like the idea, any NCAA issues? "Teams seeking to make changes to their uniforms must adhere to NCAA deadlines and procedures. Whether it's altering colors, designs, or other elements, teams must submit proposals in advance and obtain approval to avoid penalties or disruptions to gameplay." I can think of many situations where I've seen college teams wearing alternate uniforms. The Titans requested and received approval to wear throwback uniforms (untucked!) when they dedicated the Dick Vitale Court several years ago. Where there's a willl there's a way.

We have to submit a proposal to the NCAA? I have zero confidence in our athletic director to do that successfully.

We have to submit a proposal to the NCAA? I have zero confidence in our athletic director to do that successfully. To be fair he could do it. It just won't get approved in time

Great idea. I'd buy that jersey and/or a T-shirt with Motor City Titans.

I believe that based on the 1990 consolidation agreement, the special jerseys will need to say “Motor City Mercy.”

Great idea. I'd buy that jersey and/or a T-shirt with Motor City Titans. If the school could get the OK to wear the jerseys once they could be a big souvenir seller. Have a contest among the students to design the jerseys with the Motor City and 313 themes. Maybe option off the game jerseys. Revenue opportunity. If the NCAA says No, then just market some as souvenirs.
