Looks like the Titans have made an offer to Thomas Kithier, who was ranked #9 in Steve Bell's recent Top Ten for 2018 in Michigan. TK mentioned the offer, his first, on his twitter page, and it was also mentioned by several twitter posts.
The offer to Thomas follows the recent trend of the Titans staff to identify potential front court targets early on and be among their first offers. TK is also teammate of Jermaine Jackson Jr. at Dakota High School.
From Twitter;
National Prep Hoops @hoopreview 13h13 hours ago 2018 Dakota (MI) F Thomas Kithier has received an offer from Detroit. @thomaskithier This kid has a high Ceiling , just the start.

Even better. Thanks for the correction. Don't know much about this young man, but I have learned to trust the evaluations of Coach Mac and staff. We were on Hogan early. Same with Edwards, although he eventually went the high major route. Someone on the staff has a good eye for talent.

Steve Bell has an early Top 10 list for Michigan Class of '18, noting that's awful early. But these are guys to watch. 1. Brandon Johns 6-8, East Lansing. 2. Foster Loyer 5-10 Clarkston: 3. Zavon Godwin 6-4 F, Roseville. 4. Tanner Reha 6-3 F, DeWitt. 5. David DeJulius 5-10 PG Detroit Edison: 6. Davion Williams 6-1 G Belleville: 7. Pierre Mitchell 5-10 PG Detroit Loyola. Already on UD radar. 8. Jake Lee 6-4 Petoskey. 9. Thomas Kithier 6-7 F/C Macomb Dakota. 10. Quinn Blair 6-5 Dearborn Divine Child. A fellow DePaul basketball fan told me that Davion Williams and Foster Loyer were expected to attend the Depaul Elite individual camp next week.

Here's an early verbal from a kid the Titans had been looking at. PG Pierre Mitchell verbals to Central Michigan. The Chips have gotten a lot of early verbals the last few years, and generally been able to keep them.

Reported by Verbal Commits and elsewhere that Titans have offered 2018 6-6 Ypsilanti Lincoln SF Tray Jackson. Appears to be first offer. Usually, when the Titans identify and offer guys early, they turn out to be damn good and we lose them to high majors, e.g. Deyonta Davis, AJ Turner, Yante Maten, and many others. We've had a pretty good eye for talent. It appears that Jackson put on a strong performance at the Titans' Elite Camp this summer: "Tray Jackson 6-6 So Ypsilanti Lincoln: The surprise breakout prospect. He has the body, athleticism and shooting range of an older player. I coached 40 15U AAU games in the spring and rarely saw a member of the 2018 class who had Jackson’s combination of size and shot. Missed a dunk attempt but on another showed good hands and coordination to bring it in and put it down. You’d like to see him discover a post game and consistently embrace the dirty forward work, though his length provides a defensive presence." s180024.instanturl.net/bankhoopsnew/2015/06/26/calihan-call-outs-strong-performances-at-u-d-elite-camp/Sam, know anything about this kid?

Tray is a kid who is a completely different player than he was as a freshman. He was uncoordinated and raw last season, and was overshadowed on a Lincoln Railsplitter team that had Ty Groce (headed to Northeastern) and Devin Haygood (currently at YSU). Looks like he started catching up with his body over the summer, because he is more polished, more athletic, and having a greater impact. I don't want to claim all the credit here, but after I attended the Lincoln vs Milan game at the start of this season, I emailed Coach Jay and told him that Tray was worth scouting. I don't know if he was on the Titan radar before that. He's definitely a player worth keeping tabs on. Good point about the Titan eye for talent. You can add Mike Edwards to that list, who we offered the summer after he averaged only five points per game as a high school junior. Good eye for talent, indeed.

I saw two Lincoln games this week and got a good look at reported Titan recruit Tray Jackson. He struggled in both games. HE's in a tough spot; Lincoln is an inexperienced team with a new coach, and this is Tray's first season playing major minutes. He looked much better in a game I saw earlier this season. I think he has potential, and since he is just a sophomore, he has time to reach it.

I was told that he has left the team and is transferring to a different school. I haven't heard where he might be going, or what were the reasons behind his transfer.

Finally got a chance to see Davion Williams in person last night as Belleville took on Ypsilanti in the Regional semifinals. Ypsilanti won big. Unfortunately for Davion, he had probably his worse game of the year. Seems like he was a little to excited at the start of the game. He picked up two early fouls, both on charging calls, and never got into a rhythm. He finished with only six points. He's young. He'll be back. Rivals really likes Davion a lot. n.rivals.com/content/prospects/maple/185155
