Not a great moment (a 37-30 loss to Xavier), but a glimpse of what Titan basketball looked like in 1941. I believe this game was played at Detroit’s Navel Armory.

They called us the "Brazilmen"? I'm assuming after coach Lloyd Brazil? Were we not the Titans at that time (1936)? EDIT: if the article was titled Titan Topics, then we obviously were the Titans. I'm thinking maybe another way of referring to teams back then was with the Coach's last name/since they were "his men".
