Last year I was among at least a few who complained that getting info on Titan recruiting was impossible. We wondered if the Titans simply weren't getting offers out, or perhaps were even requesting silence from recruits and coaches. Now we're almost inundated with info on Titan offers for '18, '19, and '20. I wonder if the Titans just weren't making offers last year, which would reflect perhaps a greater certainty in landing Triple J and Ballantyne than the coaches let on.

That doesn't surprise me. Pickerington is absolutely loaded this year, the best team in Ohio, and we've already been working on two of his teammates, 2018 SF Adrian Nelson and 2019 PF Cole Landis. Here's a note on Francis. www.270hoops.com/roster_players/12535686?subseason=301030. In addition to Francis and Landis, Pickerington has another sure-fire D-I player in the class of '19, combo guard Jevohn Garcia. Two other class of '19 guards on the team, Ethan Hazelrig and Jaidon Lipscomb, are also on D-I scouts radar. The team's center is Sterling Manning, a senior who has committed to North Carolina. Junior forward Jah Blevins is also a D-I player, and probably junior Juan Elmore, too. Got to see Pickerington live this past Saturday. They are stacked. Jeremiah Francis is special, and should end up as a high major player. Other than Francis, the team is so deep that no one else really stood out. They are well coached, and play well together. Surprisingly, it was Sterling Manley who didn't impress me much, but maybe he just had a bad game. Noticed something interesting the other day. Bacari has recently begun following Pickerington's Sterling Manley on Twitter. Manley is, as noted above, a freshman at UNC this fall. Pickerington is loaded with talent. We offered their 2019 guard Jeremiah Francis, but he's already scratched us from his list--he's got double figure P5 offers. We've also offered SF Adrian Nelson from the 2018 class, and have shown some interest in 2020 forward Coleton Landis. Juan Elmore, who I mentioned above, was at our elite camp earlier this summer and got a lot of attention from JJ. It probably means nothing more than covering the bases for our Pickerington targets, but it's interesting that BA now has started following Manley. Pickerington has several other potential D-I and D-II recruits on the roster.

Jeremiah Francis committed to North Carolina. They just offered him last week. Recall that in addition to being a pretty attractive offer, Francis's teammate from last year, Sterling Manley, is a freshman there.

Scout released its updated Top 120 for 2019 this week.
Michigan players include: 48. Romeo Weems 82. Terry Armstrong 96. Rocket Watts
Also of note as recruited by the Titans: 64. Jeremiah Francis
Only a handful of these players have made commitments as of yet (all verbal, of course). Buzz Williams at Virginia Tech has 3 verbal commits already.
