Howard did not play at Towson last season. Those stats are from 2018-19 when he was Towson's second leading scorer. He was not listed on Towson's roster last season.

Played about 60 minutes in 15 games for Kent in 2019. Seems to be in mid-major demand as juco transfer, with several reported offers, including league foes Milwaukee, Cleveland State, and Green Bay. He's #38 on the juco top 100 list Sam linked to above. Originally from Gary, Indiana. Looks like he's become popular all of a sudden. If we really want him, then these are the teams we need to be able to out recruit I believe we have a shot as long as I dont see Georgia State or Duquesne listed as possible suitors.

A little more about Carr, who we offered at the end of February I have the feeling a lot of mid major type prospects may end up committing close to home

Looking at that list, I'm not sure we're a shoe in for his services.

It is strange that we only have one player in the transfer portal, at least to my knowledge. After a season where our coach constantly said he needs to get “better guys” and many of the players had very limited minutes. It’s also a year where most UDM fans honestly probably want most of these guys to enter the portal, yet here they sit. One problem with taking borderline D1 players that, as coach said, no one else wanted is that you risk being stuck with them or faced with pushing them out by having a conversation that is painful, unethical, and might violate NCAA rules. You can tell a kid that he’s not really a great fit for the program, but if he needs the scholarship in order to get his college education and feels unlikely to get a scholarship at another D1 school, leaving isn’t very attractive. Keep in mind that not every D2 player is on a full scholarship.
The transfer portal is completely saturated. Unfortunately, a lot of the guys we want to leave don’t have a lot of minutes played to show they can play even decently, and the stats they do have aren’t impressive. And with coronavirus now in the mix and possibly making this economy the worst since 1929, it’s hard to blame these players for not risking their college scholarships.

Oakland has offered 2020 Hillcrest Prep (AZ) G/F Micah-Immanuel Parrish. Micah is a 2019 River Rouge HS alum that played on two final-4 teams. The Titans offered him a scholarship prior to his senior year, perhaps OU and UDM going head-to-head for this recruit.

Let's not count out Wheeling and Northwood, who are both also after him.

Pat Donnelly, UD Jesuit coach, tweeted the following today:
“College Coaches: JT Morgan ‘20 is a 6’7” 210 Forward and three-year starter at U of D Jesuit. Has greatly improved in the last three years and averaged a near double-double his senior season. DM me if interested in seeing some film. Would be a great late season signing.”
