I watched the Chase Thompson clips and the first thing I wondered is how many times the Horizon Refs' will call him for steps.

I'm hearing... 1) The staff is pretty confident Thompson will get 2 years as a Titan 2) They have decided NOT to bring in a starting PG we were in on as a Grad Transfer and the coaches believe that Antoine will have adequate ballhandling help as we are now built
3) We might still sign another space eater, one who was on hold as we were waiting for Thompson 4) Waterman is looking really good and may be a steal

I hope it is, and I hope they land him.

I hope it is, and I hope they land him. I hope they land him also and we get A. Uemadu. He looks to be a quick jumper and there fore should be a good shot blocker.

Udemadu would be a good get, and he would be around for four years. But we're running out of scholarships, especially if we get Datcher. Might prefer Udemadu over Datcher only because he'll be a four-year player.
It would be pretty cool with Thompson, Brandon and Udemadu on the frontline. Three shot blockers, no one would go inside. We could revive the old "No Mercy" slogan.

I am not sure why his recruiting has gone quiet, but if we are able to bring him on board, it would be good news. I know there are big guys we are looking at in 2021 and beyond, but give me the bird in the hand.

Datcher would be a good get it is just that Uemadu would be better and by tourney time might be able to contribute more. I'm not sure what happened with his recruitment but what I saw I liked and he did have a good HS tournament. I just like a quick jumper who does not have to gather himself in order to get up.

Understood. I like a guy who gets off the floor quickly, too.

I personally that the big man grad transfer is Noah Bigirumwami as Coach Dildy recruited him at Chicago State. He also logged major mins for CSU when they played bigger power 5 schools. Waterman is NOT a center. Please watch his film. He’s a lot more like Paris Bass than Eli. Think Willy with the ability to handle the ball and shoot from the corner.

I'm not sure 1.8 ppg and 1.7 rpg at Chicago State is too impressive. Against P5 schools in 2020: Purdue: 5 minutes, 0 pts, 0 rebs. Florida State: 21 minutes, 0 pts., 1 reb, 1 asst., 2 steals, 2 turnovers, 3 pfs, Missouri: 21 minutes, 2 pts., 6 rebs., 1 steal, 1 blk, 2 pfs Against P5 schools in 2019: Indiana: 13 minutes, 1 pt., 1 reb., 1 turnover, 3 pfs Notre Dame: 5 minutes, 1 pt., 1 reb, 1 turnover, 1 pf Northwestern: 3 minutes, 0 pts, 0 rebs That's a total of 4 points, 9 rebounds, 4 turnovers, 9 personal fouls, 1-5 shooting, 2-4 free throws. I'm not seeing much there. Agree on Waterman.

If he’s being used like NJ was.. I won’t complain. There’s enough powerful big men in the HL id gladly take a rebound and 5 fouls guy.

Here's a player I was talking about recently. We offered him a while back. Looks like he's going JUCO
