The LadyIes are releasing their schedule today. They open at Miami (Ohio) on the road then Bowling Green at home. Altogether they have 6 games against MAC teams. Nearly a conference member.

The Lady Titans are playing a good non-conference schedule. I might road trip to some of the MAC games.

Home games against UM and MSU! Too bad the men can't schedule like that anymore.

Home games against UM and MSU! Too bad the men can't schedule like that anymore. If only. One of my most vivid Titan memories is a game against Michigan State and Steve Smith at Calihan. The Spartans won with Smith taking over late, but it was a great game. One of my young nieces is a budding basketball player and a big Michigan fan. I will try to get her up to Calihan for the Lady Titans versus the Lady Wolverines.

I'm guessing it was in the 1988-89 season, maybe a week or 2 prior to Christmas. I don't remember may details except we hung close, only to fall by a few points at the end. It was probably my second favorite after the Hersey Hawkins 63 point effort for top 20 Bradley vs Archie Tullos 49 points for Detroit in 1988
