Titans have offered 2015 power forwards Nick Perkins (Milan), Jeron Rogers (Farmington), and Michael Edwards (Westland) in the last couple weeks. I still think that the Titans are probably looking for one guard and one big man for the small class of '15. Offering the three bigs in rapid succession leads me to think the coaches feel pretty good about landing one or more of the current guard targets, most likely Marquel Ingram, with Andia Marsh as a back-up possibility. Lamonta Stone or Munis Tutu may still be in play, too.

Coach Lamonta Stone tweeted this today:
LaMonta practiced at the Boys Club on Livernois. Talk about bringing back memories, in high school that was the spot , great summer games
I wonder if his son was in town?

Listed at 6-9 as a junior, perhaps he picks up another inch or two. He's already reportedly at 225 pounds, so he appears to have the potential size to be an effective HL center. I've tracked Perkins for a while and everything I have read and witnessed would suggest to me that he'd be a contributor for the Titans. I don't know much about Rogers, but ESPN lists him as a three star. The guards listed all look solid, with Ingram being my personal favorite.

Per his own report to Prep Ball Report, I've added 6-5 Bishop Foley wing Antonio Capaldi. I doubt that he's high on the Titan recruitment list but apparently he's been contacted. The updated list is on page 5 of this thread.

Probably worth keeping an eye this coming year. I like those Prep Ball Report profiles.

Manuel is perhaps another case of a local player finding out the hard way that going the prep route doesn't work for everyone. He was not a real contributor at Oak Hill, and probably lost some stature among recruiters. Wayland's Lacey James makes a verbal commitment to Detroit. 14.2 points/9 rebounds per game as junior, leading team to state quarterfinals.
Bankhoops has him #10 in Michigan Class of '15. IPS places him at #15 AllEyesonU Hoops has him #8. Free Press Mick McCabe puts him #11.
Solid big man pick up if he holds.

Forward Devin Haygood, who has not been identified as a Titan target but was mentioned earlier in this thread, received an offer from Youngstown State. The Titans are recruiting Haygood's teammate Ty Groce, so it's likely that they have had at least some contact with Haygood. They attend my alma mater, so I've seen a lot of both of them. Haygood's a nice player. Verbal Commits @verbalcommits 4m 2015 Lincoln (MI) F Devin Haygood has received an offer from Youngstown State. @__DEVH23 verbalcommits.com/players/devin-haygood …

Michael Edwards visited Cleveland State yesterday, and Nick Perkins was offered by Bowling Green over the weekend. But for all we know, we no longer have openings in the Class of '15.
