His father appears to be Earl Flaggs, a high school and AAU coach in Arizona who has advised other kids going to Eduprize (a charter school). As we've seen, Coach Davis seems to have a liking for sons of coaches. Congrats on the offer, Malcolm!

I'm always glad to see teams I root for recruit from that area.

ESPN updates their 2022 rankings, posting their top 100. Some notes: Ypsilanti's Emoni Bates still holds the number one spot for ESPN. Amari Bailey is ranked #3 and committed to UCLA; I remember when he was in eight grade he committed to DePaul. Ty Rodgers from Saginaw is ranked #35. He and Bates are the only Michigan guys on the list. 25 players on the list have committed already. Baller, Ohio State has two of them. TTH, North Carolina has one. Michigan has one. Memphis has three, the most of any program so far, I believe. www.espn.com/college-sports/basketball/recruiting/playerrankings/_/class/2022/view/super60/sort/rank/order/true

Always looking out. That's why Sam is irreplaceable. ๐ The biggest news for me was Liddell returning. Would have been good to hold onto Washington... but I'll deal with it.

I was surprised that Washington stayed in the draft, considering that most lists I see rank him around 100 among the pro prospects. That doesn't project out out to being drafted and making some guaranteed money, but maybe he's just ready to move on. Or maybe he's just that confident that he will be able to outplay those rankings if he gets invited to someone's camp. Liddell coming back was definitely big. The Big 14 should be a battle again in 21-22.

Detroit King pg Chansey Willis Jr was offered Willis posted again about his Titans offer, either to reaffirm it or to include it on his new Twitter page. If the Titans are looking to add a high school guard in this class, I imagine he is high on their list.

Orlando Lovejoy of Romulus still has our offer pinned to the top of his Twitter feed. Could we be looking local again? And have some options at PG?

Pulling forward this tweet from Sonny's father that hsscout1 had posted way back in December 2018. Relationships get built over time.

Verbally committed to Arizona State. Speculation is that he will be a walk-on.
