Antoine ends the 2018-19 season with 784 points, 132 three-point baskets, and 107 assists.
The school record for most points in a season is 785 by Rashad Phillips in 2001. The canceled game at Cal likely preventing Antoine from breaking the school record.
School record for 3's in a season is 136 by Rashad in 2001.
School record for assists in a season is 220 by Wilbert McCormick in 29 games in the 1978 season.
Antoine is the first Titan in 6 seasons to record over 100 assists in a season. Ray,Jr at 147 and Jason Calliste at 109 both accomplished these numbers in 2012-13.

Congrats to AD. He had a fantastic season. Hopefully we can bring in more talent in the offseason and he can have the right mix on the team to work on the non-scoring aspects of his game. He's got a lot of upside at PG. I'll look forward to watching next season.

AD finished the season just 8 field goal attempts shy of DeBusschere's school record. That's a ton of shots to have to take as a frosh. Hopefully we get some people in here to reduce the load.

Hopefully, AD will develop an improved sense of shot selection. I would like to see him at 45%FG and 40+ 3pt..

Hopefully, AD will develop an improved sense of shot selection. I would like to see him at 45%FG and 40+ 3pt.. I hope he doesn't change a thing except maybe get 7-10 assists a game which is possible if we surround him with some players who can catch and shoot a basketball or someone not setting a moving pick. I think Moore and Isiani might be a couple of the people we need. It's pretty tough when you have a teammate wide open and you pass to him and he looks around and passes it back or you set up a teammate and he misses a bunny or the ball goes through his hands. AD will be fine he is not the problem he is the solution. When have you ever watched a true shooter or scorer with shot selection? A scorer has to think if he missed 2 the next one is going in for sure. Remember 40% from three is like 60% from 2. He was at 38% from three this year. I think he should have shot more 3s and fewer 2s. He was only 40% from 2. I will expect him to hit 40% from 3 and 50% from two if he has someone to lay off to.

I was spoiled by Terry Duerod's career FG 51.2%.

I was spoiled by Terry Duerod's career FG 51.2%. Sweet was a great shooter and a great Titan but I think before his career is done as a Titan AD might be the very best. Due had a lot more help than AD. I'm not knocking Duerod I loved his game and used to watch him at Highland Park but lets not knock AD either. We are blessed to have him as a Titan and we should be supporting this team a lot better than we are. Duerod played at home to a lot better crowd and support than we give this team. They basically have very little home court advantage. If we want to talk percentages we should talk about the very poor percentage of Titan games we attend and make a pledge to be there a lot more next year. I guess I was spoiled by a great fan base. I keep hoping it will reappear. That passion is what attracted me to this program.

He scored 22 points in the NCAA tournament loss to Lamar.

Bar something really odd, Antoine will finish 3rd in the nation in scoring. That's the highest finish ever for a Titan in the post-war era. Spencer Haywood finished 4th in 1969, Rashad Phillips twice finished 6th. Dave DeBusschere (twice) and Bill Ebben also finished in the top 10.

Me thinks Davis comes in 4th against that competition. But being the 4th best freshman in the country is pretty darn good. Especially against that competition.

WOW! That is an eye-watering list of talent on that Antoine is among. Very impressive accolade, and certainly one where it is true that its 'just nice to be nominated'.
