NC State game is supposedly Nov 10th. If you already knew this info, why not post it previously. I don't enjoy wasting my time hunting for info that apparently is already known... Well excuse me ...

I had heard don’t expect too many home games, and it looks like it might be just Eastern Michigan, Toledo and Northeastern. At least the two MAC schools provide a bit of local flavor.
Oakland released their schedule yesterday and they have just two D-1 home games, Hartford and Fairfield, along with Goshen. They have Maryland and Syracuse on the road, Michigan St. at the LCA, and four road against MAC opponents, along with an early tournament in Florida.

I guess few home games is becoming just part of being a mid major these days. That's why I like the MAAC teams -they'll play us H & A, and the aways are close enough to attend. To bad we can't snag a similar relationship with a MVC team or two

IMO, an MVC school that would be nice to target is Loyola. I noticed that the Titan WBB team opens with the Ramblers this coming season.

NC State game is supposedly Nov 10th. Very cool. NC State on one Sunday, Clemson the next. I'm about half-way between the two. I'll be at both (along with the men's soccer game at Clemson over Labor Day weekend). Anyone else going?

Those three are teams I think we should play regularly, with Toledo and EMU being every year games. Mid Majors are being squeezed in every facet of college basketball, including the scheduling piece.

Our daughter lives in Greenville, SC, and recently received her MBA from that university.

Bob, let's keep in touch. Greenville has a nice downtown. I'll be going a day early, maybe we can meet for a drink or a meal.

Men's soccer team is playing at Clemson on Labor Day, so I'll be making two trips to Greenville/Clemson this fall. And I expect our women's lacrosse team will have a pair of games in Greenville and Spartanburg in the spring. I'll be there then, too.

We can identify Louisiana as another team in the MGM Main Event "Middleweight" bracket in Vegas. Cal-Irvine is another. Louisiana is the former Louisiana-Lafayette nee Southwest Louisiana in its 1970s/early 80s heydays. Then they produced the likes of Andrew Toney and Dwight Lamar.

I think this will be a 4 team, bracketed tournament, with one team as yet unknown. So we will definitely play one of Cal-Irvine and Louisiana, but we can't yet confirm from our paltry rumor mill that we will necessarily play both, or either in particular.

I was basing my statement on the linked schedule itself, and not on the quote I posted from the article. The schedule lists both us or Cal-Irvine vs Louisiana on both 11/24 & 11/26. I just figured Louisiana would play each team, one on each of the dates listed. In reality though, it doesn't really matter - I'm sure by early October the School will release a schedule.
