Hearing schedule is complete, should be publicly released in next day or two. No Utah (maybe next season). But additions to what was previously reported include Gonzaga, Kent St., and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville. That's too many: Confirmed: @ Notre Dame @ Clemson @ NC State @ Wyoming @ Ohio @ MGM @ MGM H Northeastern H Toledo That's 9 games with published dates. But we've also been told that we're at Utah, and have EMU at home. That's 11 games--only room for two more. Someone must be off. More importantly, thanks for info. I like @ Gonzaga. And isn't Kent the second half of a H/H? Leaves me to guess SIUE is off or EMU was wrongly reported.

Commissioner - no Utah. Hearing that Utah wouldn't sign because they read hyperion's post about a mystery big man. C'mon MBM! Show thyself!

Think this is it, 13 games:
@ North Carolina St., Nov. 10 @ Clemson, Nov. 17 @ Wyoming, Nov. 19 TBD* (@mgm Main Event, Las Vegas) Nov. 25 TBD* (@mgm Main Event, Las Vegas) Nov. 27 @ Ohio, Nov. 30 @ Notre Dame, Dec. 10 Northeastern, Dec. 19 Eastern Michigan Toledo, Dec. 14 @ Gonzaga Kent St. S. Illinois-Edwardsville
Not sure if last two listed games are home or away.

According to Gonzaga Guru, the open dates on the Zag's non-conference schedule are: 1) Nov 2-14 (possible if we play in very early November, but I also hear we may have a scrimmage against a Big Ten team set for sometime before the NC State game) 2) Nov 30 - Dec 3 (unlikely for us to play in Athens OH on Nov. 30 and then fly to Spokane to play on Dec 2 (Zags play TX So. on Dec 4) 3) Dec 22 - Jan 1 (most likely dates being Dec 28-31 due to Christmas break; last year, our final game before Christmas was Dec 21) So, I'm thinking we will play at Gonzaga sometime very late in December. I have been following Gonzaga's scheduling for the past two years because when Coach Davis was at Texas Southern, he seemed able to get a game there frequently. And he mentioned the Zags early on in his interviews as a desired road game. I'm glad that they are likely back on our schedule. H/T to rogobob for reporting this information.

Season opening day is November 5; We've got nothing listed until NC State on the 10th, so I would not be surprised if this were a season opener at Gonzaga. It would seem to me that the other likely possibilities are that we are playing SIU-E or EMU at home to open the season.

With EMU, Toledo, and Northeastern at home, I bet USIE will be on the road this year. That would give us another return game along with Ohio next year in Detroit.

Once the schedule is "publicly released in the next day or two", then, according to the previously stated "the coaches don't like to announce their new players until after they get their non-conference schedule set" - I'm expecting a roster very very soon

No real specifics offered, he said we’re close to completing, got a sense that there might be one last spot to fill. Sounds crazy this late in the summer, but that is college basketball in 2019. Classes start Monday so it has to happen soon. I didn’t see the team work out, they were in the Fitness Center as Calihan’s floor was getting refinished with the new three-point line.

Clemson and Wyoming are “tournament” games with no return. I don’t know with 100% certainty about the other three, but can’t imagine they aren’t anything but straight buy games.

I think the Clemson and Wyoming games are tied to the MGM tournament. We still may get paid but from the tournament.

Ohio this year is the return game from last year. So unless we did a 4 year deal, they won’t be on next year’s schedule. Of course, that may make it all the more likely we play SIUE in the road this year.

Kent State was a home game last year, too. I would expect this year's game to be at Kent. Gonzaga will be a road game. Last year, this staff scheduled only 2 home non-conference games other than the two tournament games for which we had made a commitment under the prior coaching staff. With 3 home games already scheduled, EMU, Toledo and Northeastern, it's unlikely that this staff would schedule a 4th home game. I still think the Gonzaga game will occur in late December. I don't see any other real mesh in our two schedules.
So, I agree with Commissioner that the SIUE game will most likely be on the road. In the OVC last year, SIUE finished in a comparable position to our HL finish. Wherever the game is played, it will give us a good indication of the HL vs OVC.
More importantly, it's good to be able to talk about something relatively important to being a Titan fan - finally.
