OK, an off-season time waster. Here are some of the best Titan guards of the last 30 or so years. Most of you have seen all or at least a majority play. How would you rank them, from 1st to last, based only on their time as Titans? I've listed them in chronological order:
1. Tony Tolbert 2. Derrick Hayes 3. Jermaine Jackson, Sr. 4. Rashad Phillips5 5. Willie Green 6. Ray McCallum 7. Antoine Davis

The middle three are the best (so far). I never saw Tolbert or Hayes so they're a toss-up for me.

I have had the opportunity to watch everyone of these guys multiple times and this is my opinion.

Clear Top Tier of guys... 1) Rashad. He won 95 games as a Titan, I believe the most ever. 2 NCAA wins, willed the team to NIT final four. Impactful from day 1.
2) Willie - Got better and better every year, was a man amongst boys his senior year.
3) JJ - Not gaudy stats, but he made those great Titan teams go with all around game, leadership, tenacity.
Next tier... 4) Ray Mc - was a winner but his career never really felt fully achieved or blossomed while a Titan. Compared with other guys on this list, he couldn't just 'will' teams to wins nor could he get his own shot off at end of game situations (wasn't great at driving to rim)
5) Tolbert - Go look at his stats, they are dang impressive after transfering from UM. He WILLED the team to a MCC tournament win, which unfortunately didn't mean an auto bid to the NCAAs due to league falling below required # of teams.
6) Hayes - 44% from 3 his senior year, which was our first of back to back NCAA wins. Such a fine addition to a talented squad. Underrated given the higher profile names around him.
7) AD - Not trying to be dramatic, but given the sheer talent on the board, someone has to be last. AD absolutely doesn't benefit from a huge step down in talent compared with what the guys above him played with (except for Tolbert). The horrid win/loss record at some point has to drag down his legacy. The eye test also isn't great with so many forced deep 3's, inability to finish near the rim, and seemingly not making the rest of the team better. If I'm drafting a team, I'm comfortable I'd draft the guys above before him. **This can still change pending what he does the last 2 years**
