Results from today:
Arkansas 77, East Central (who?) 74. Closer than I'm sure the Arkansas coaches wanted.
Alabama 73, Louisiana 68. That's a solid match up, especially for an exhibition.
Charlotte 76, Georgia 65. Bull Dog fans aren't happy.
From October 23:
LSU 74, Nicholls 62

Arkansas 77, East Central (who?) 74. Closer than I'm sure the Arkansas coaches wanted. This made me laugh. East Central is brave with their branding, just presuming everyone will know who they are, that they aren't a high school, where they are located, etc. (kinda like the Oakland 'Bay Area' Pioneers). At the same time, East Central and Detroit Mercy could be the basis of a seeming-to-be-hospital-sounding conference.

They have been East Central longer than we have been Detroit Mercy and both have Nursing Schools.

East Central sounds like a school Chip Hilton would have faced during his years at State U.

I see the scrimmage between EMU and Oakland is going to be on ESPN+ Technically this is not a secret scrimmage but a charity exhibition. Hence the coverage.

Eastern beats Oakland at Rochester by 5. Cain had 6 fouls for Oakland scored some points but was like 6 for 19 from the floor and forced a lot. I didn’t think he looked that good considering Eastern didn’t have anything inside. Oakland forced a lot of shots. The best player on the floor was Easterns Farrakhan who had 27 on 13 of 19 with 7 RBs. , 6 assists and 1 to and took it to Moore all night. 74 - 69 Eastern

Farrakhan is a walk-on with big potential

Farrakhan is a walk-on with big potential He was by far the best player on the floor last night. Oakland had no answer for him. Moore could not stay in front of him and he penetrated at ease yet he and the other Eastern perimeter players kept Moore from the lane. I liked what I saw from Heath. Kampe looked in full ulcer mode the entire game. This game was obviously important to both squads.
