I was NOT expecting a double digit loss, much less a 31 point margin.

Looks real cold in the Dayton area. Anyone have thoughts on the coaching staff feeding the guys Raising Cane’s? Not to say that one fast food meal is to blame for a historically bad loss, but it can’t be a positive. A few years ago I listened to a member of the coaching staff of a very good P5 women’s team talk about nutrition and diet - particularly on road games when the coaching staff has control of what the players consume. The increase in quality of food and heavy balance of lean cut animal protein along with vegetables made a huge difference for the program. I’m not saying never feed a college basketball team fast food, but maybe that’s the kind of thing you eat after a game when you’re in a hurry to get home. I’ve been to Raising Cane’s just once. I personally thought the food was awful. Virtually every item on the menu is fried chicken tenders and comes with their signature sauce, which will make you want to fart yourself to sleep, but not play great basketball.

We're 3-11 on the road this season. Any change might be worthwhile to reverse this trend. Eating healthier, avoiding the gameday trips to the local malls (I remember reading a tweet from an opposing team's fan a few weeks ago feeling confident of his team's chances than night after seeing the entire Mercy team in the mall and at the food court that afternoon), etc. Unfortunately, with this Coaching staff, change seems to be a difficult thing...

I was NOT expecting a double digit loss, much less a 31 point margin. We have no inside presence and live and die by the three. Oduro was not a fix and so we end up playing people out of position. The grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence. Good teams are going to exploit our inside weaknesses and lack of defensive commitment. Brandon last night went off for 15 and 14 in about 25 min.. we could sure use him right now. We developed a really nice player for NKU and probably chased him away trying to replace him with garbage

Brandon refused to play in the CIT or CBA or whatever it was. Maybe it was his fault. Maybe he lost interest in our Program because our coaches didn't do a good job of engaging with him and creating the necessary "buy in." But either way, if a kid doesn't want to wake up and play in a college basketball postseason tournament...it's time for him to leave.

The wheels are coming off, I believe we have talent on this team and have had a star for 4 years, and have wasted him (Mathew ?). This is just a poorly coached team, period.

My guess is that a reluctance to play in the CBI was not the primary reason Brandon left the Titans’ program. He seemed to be in Davis’ doghouse sporadically throughout last season. I thought he was a warrior on the boards with a lot of untapped potential and was sorry to see him transfer to NKU.

Bob, I agree. No one on the team gives us what Brandon has and we miss that. I also think he has tremendous potential and was sorry to see him leave. I'm just saying that to be a team, everyone has to be on board. The team needs to be a sum greater than the individual parts. Ever since PW left the Program, we have seemed to be the opposite of that most every season.

It took some time, but once the deep fried Raising Canes food substances fully cleared the Titans’ gastric systems on Saturday they were physically resurrected and able to beat the Norse.
