And here is your trivia stat of the day. Detroit just beat Northern Kentucky and Wright State in back-to-back games. Both teams will finish with winning records. When was the last time the Titans won back to back games against teams that finished the year with winning records? Well, last January 29-30 we beat Youngstown State in back-to-back games. YSU finished 15-12. Before that--and the last time we beat two different teams with winning records in back-to-back games, you have to go back to December 5th & 9th, 2015, when we beat Northeastern and Toledo. Northeastern finished 18-16, and Toledo finished 17-15. Was McCallum still coaching that 2015 year, or was it Bacari’s team? It was Ray. Those games were part of a four game winning streak.

The technical foul almost hurt. It was hard to see what happened from my seats in the rafters. Davis must have said something to the Refs. Thankfully Wright State shanked a couple of the free throws.
Regardless, a pizza win is always a good win!!

Dayton Daily News recap. “It’s been a battle this year for me — just the consistency — having guys show up one night (and not the next). And I knew after the Oakland game, you want them to enjoy it, but you have to move past it because it’s going to be way different the next game. We’re going into a gym with 12 (fans) in it.”

The Raiders should have felt right at home with our crowd. PFW at WSU.

I remember the tantrum he threw at Calihan when Davis scored 41 as a Frosh. He was hollering and screaming at MD I was hoping Davis would have dropped him. That was why I was so disappointed in the win Sunday I really wanted a 20+ win so I could watch Nagy show everyone who he really is.

Antoine actually scored 48 points against WSU his freshman year, one point away from tying the Titans’ record for points in a game. After watching that performance at Calihan, I thought he would be a one-and-done college player.

What a poor sport calling out our attendance as the reason for a loss. Since the Titans had so little crown momentum that should have worked to his advantage not his detriment.

Looks like we have "reverse home court" advantage. Bring in such a small crowd that the visitor can't get motivated to play you. Maybe we've come up with a reverse psychology home court advantage. Let's turn a 14 game home winning streak into a 28 game home winning streak and then maybe we'll draw enough fans for the whiner to shut up. On the other hand....

I just want the streak to be at 17 at year end. It’s 14 today.

Nagy has lost 3 of his last 4 games including one at Milwaukee. I'm with Commissioner. Let's sweep this weekend. Then, let the chips fall.
