An interesting article on enrollment trends at state supported colleges in the state of Michigan. Other than the two Big Ten universities and Michigan Tech, enrollment is down everywhere, and at some places (like CMU) the numbers have really plummeted. The story didn't say anything about WMU, they have done a good job growing the school.

WMU’s enrollment down 20%+, not as bad as EMU or CMU, but still declined. This chart is from the Detroit News, similar article but behind a paywall.
