Titans had way too many turnovers to beat a team like Cleveland State on the road! The turnovers and some really shaky calls did us in and we were blown out at the end by the second best team in the League. My guess is we play them a lot better when they come to Calihan!

The turnovers hurt, but a tightly called game hurt us. The officials were even handed but called a tight game. That got our bigs in trouble and they were less aggressive on the boards. I agree that we should play better at home, but Cleveland State is the better team now. We are improving, but Green Bay and Cleveland State are where we want to be. I was hoping for a smaller margin but did not expect to win in Cleveland (or Green Bay). CS did a good job of anticipating the passing lanes. They will learn from this and move on.

Were turnovers mostly a result of full court press or sloppy passing?

Three of the calls that stood out to me all involved Gilmore first there was a steal where she threw a bounce pass she was hacked pretty bad on the arm as she made the pass but no call then she sprinted the floor got in front of the Cleveland lay in caused the Cleveland player to miss in the replay there was no contact at all but Gilmore was called for the foul. There was not any contact at all showed air between players but if there was contact it would have been initiated by Cleveland. Gilmore got in front and slowed a little but didn’t stop, it was not a foul but if one was committed it would have been a charge.
