Antoine did pretty well at the G League Elite camp. "Solid defense" may be the two key words here. Everyone knows he can shoot.

Classy young man! I was going to say class act but AD is not an act he is for real! Represented UD well on and off of the floor! I wish him more success because he already has success just being who he is!

For those of you who said that AD was not potential NBA material.

For those of you who said that AD was not potential NBA material. Which NBA team picked him up? And how long was his contract? Seriously, citing performances in G-League games isn't exactly proving anything. I'll continue to hope he gets a shot at the league just as I'd hoped for RP3 back in the day when he was leading the way for the Mobile Revelers. Just saying that your "told you so" might be a bit premature.

RIP City is the NBA G-Legue for the Portland Trail Blazers. The Blazers signed AD right after the draft with the intention of him spending time in the G-League.

Agree that G-League is more tightly coupled with the NBA then it was back in the days of the Revelers. My point is that I'll start getting excited when he puts on an actual Blazers jersey. I'd read something somewhere that he was only guaranteed some portion in the event he was not waived by mid-January. Not sure how accurate that was. Probably awesome news that he's doing what he's doing right at this moment.

Yeah, I think generally a player is considered to have "made it" to the NBA once they actually see action in official NBA games. Paris Bass is on that list, and I'll certainly add Antoine as soon as he logs some official NBA regular season minutes. Like you said, it's good to see AD cooking in the G League. He's a hard working you man and deserves good things.
