I've noticed several people around the web suggest that we are likely to get a guarantee game at Kentucky now. I'm not sure--does Calipari want to play against his son? Does Brad want to play against Kentucky, a team I honestly do think he loves? I'd take the game if Calipari wants to give it to us, but I question if that's the case. I think believing we will get a game with Kentucky is wishful thinking.

Not suggesting Calipari would consider this, but does anyone know the rule about grad transferring twice? If BC earned a degree from UDM by next August would he be eligible to transfer again and play immediately?

I think it's a live recruiting period. I wonder if Cal was in town checking out Isaiah Jackson, formerly of Detroit Old Redford and Spire, currently slated to attend Waterford Mott. Nice to see the program get some attention on a platform that reaches as many people as Cal's Twitter account.

Hi sam,
The NCAA calendar says that currently it is a recruiting dead period.
Except, there are two evaluation periods for coaches to attend NCAA approved camps. One is from July 11-14. The other is July 23-28. July 15-22 and 29-31 are dead periods. No coach can have any in-person or off-campus contact with a recruit during an evaluation period.
That said, I've noticed that our team's Twitter feed has picked up a lot of new followers from Kentucky after Brad Calipari announced his commitment to play here. I hope he does well.

Perhaps Coach Calipari was helping Brad move into the dorms. Brad isn't a walk-on, is he? Not that Dad would have an issue picking up the bill.

If nothing else, Cal is bringing us more attention than any recruit in recent memory save Ray McCallum and Antoine. And taking that thought seriously, if Cal and Antoine were to form the starting back court--especially as a pair of "walk-ons"--I'll bet that would generate a fair bit of media attention. It's a great story angle. So Cal, if you're out there, we need you to step it up.

Antoine Davis has 1,635 Twitter followers Brad Calipari has 49,000 Twitter followers (including me, that’s how I was alerted to the linked article) Detroit Mercy MBB has 3,566 followers Kentucky Basketball has 785,300 Twitter followers

Is Brad Calipari still on the roster? I didn't see him on the bench at the last weekend series.
