Western Michigan’s game tomorrow against ND has been canceled. Information is still coming out but from what I’m reading it says WMU had to cancel because of lack of enough players due to COVID. I assume that means quarantine orders and not cases. FWIW, WMU says their game against MSU this weekend is still on, so it should not be an issue for our game against WMU.

Not sure if this is the men's or women's team:
Here's what the current schedule looks like:
Now, with Wednesday’s game (vs Western Michigan) canceled, the Irish will instead look to get in the win column on Saturday, 12/5, against Purdue Fort Wayne at 11 AM ET. That game was added to the schedule just in the past couple days, after the Irish’s 12/5 match-up with the Tennessee Volunteers was canceled due to COVID issues on the Tennessee side. Notre Dame then plays Ohio St on Tues as part on the ACC/Big10 Challenge

The ND v PFW game was also canceled. The Mole has been talking about an ND v UDM matchup on Twitter for days now.

If we play ND on the 6th as rumored, then, our non-con schedule would be:
Dec 4 - at MSU at 5 pm ET
Dec 6 - at ND at 7 pm ET
Dec 8 - vs Kent State at 7 pm ET
Dec 13 - at Western Michigan at 2:00 pm ET
Dec 15 - at Kentucky at 5 pm ET

From Tony Paul in the Detroit News: “Detroit Mercy also is expected to add a high-major game for this Sunday, and all signs indicate that will be at Notre Dame. Notre Dame coach Mike Brey took took to Twitter last month asking teams to consider playing the Fighting Irish this weekend.”

Didn't really think we would, so I am pleasantly surprised.

Looks like Michigan is looking for a local team to fill a spot. This game was scheduled for Wed. I say call them and tell them we'll do it Thurs in Ann Arbor
