Link to the past: Robinson's Casper College team has a history of tournament play against Trinidad State, which is where Spencer Haywood played the year before he came to Detroit. Robinson, a playmaker and long-range shooter, was named an NJCAA Division I All-America honoree this past season.

My favorite OG Titan, Ralph Brisker, was a JUCO transfer from Casper JC in 1966. Ralph was from Southeastern HS if I recall. Anyone out there remember Ralph?

I remember John better because he played at Hamtramck HS with Rudy Tomjanovich. But I do remember Ralph playing for us and being a very good player the year before I enrolled.

Casper, for a Wyoming JC, has a varied group of players: only one kid from Wyoming, a Canadian (from Windsor!), four Europeans, a kid from L.A. Among the six sponsored sports is ... rodeo.

I hope they are at least taking a good look at him. He's putting up some big numbers. I saw today that he got his first D1 offer, from Stetson, this week. I believe he is the brother of Malik Ellison, who played for EMU and Saginaw Valley.
