Went to watch it on ESPN3 and found the telecast was not working. Extremely disappointing in a COVID season not to have a scheduled telecast work. Of course, the same crew apparently ran an event back in October at which one of the microphones didn't work and you couldn't hear anyone until they got it fixed. The women played an unexpectedly good first half. Too bad we can't watch it on a scheduled telecast as promised.

It is bad enough we can't socially distance in the 8K+ arena for the Women's team. Not being able to see it as advertised is hopefully not an omen of the future. Coach found out Bridget Fox is a gamer! I minute in the first half but earned a lot of minutes in the second. Nice start for some of the newbies too. Disappointed Annika did not play. Hope her knee improves. The women played well against a Big East team. Lot of new players, new system and new coaches. A win would have been great, but a nice showing overall. Hope the men can do the same. Oops they aren't playing tonight. Crazy year but ironically I got a letter from the President today about how well everything was going despite the virus.

After falling behind by 7 in the first quarter, our women's team battled very tough today against Xavier and lost 81-73. This was a different team than the last few years. Coach Gilbert appears to have added some mentally tough players to the mix.
