Notre Dame was just too big physically and with a few bounces we could have won this one. I thought everyone who played played well. Joey Liedel touched the ball one time and drilled a long three so he is 1 - 1 and the release was quick. I had Willie with 11 rb. 4 pts. a block and three assists. During the radio broadcast of the MSU/Detroit game, the play by play guy said that one of the coaches was praising Joey's skill as a shooter, and said that in a late game situation where they needed a three to win/tie, they would be comfortable putting him in , even if he hadn't played all night.

I hate to lose, but there were positives to the game last night. We gave them all they could handle, and even held a late lead. That should bode well for conference play.
Five players with five our more rebounds is impressive, especially against an ACC team. We kept our turnovers to 7, and held our own on the glass. Johnson, Bul, and Fraser all finished strong through contact on those drives to the basket. Rose had a very solid game.
Let's get this win against Kent State tomorrow. Two moral victories are enough. :-)

I didnt see the Notre Dame game, but I did watch the MSU game in its entirety, Bul is reminds me of a poor mans Dennis Rodman with some scoring ability. Good find by the coaching staff.
