If that last shot in regulation from Fraser had fallen, I'd be feeling better about the game, but the issues would still be there. Too many turnovers, beaten on the boards, another poor shooting game from AD, etc, etc. On the plus side, Kuol played well, and has exceeded my expectations so far. It was good to see Waterman make his debut, and he had his moments. Koka didn't score much, and didn't shoot well with his limited shot attempts, but in his 26 minutes he had 8 boards, 2 blocks, 2 steals, and as assist. I'll take that for a guy who is still getting acclimated to the system and his teammates. I'm torn on Waterman. He showed some positive things, and Coach loves him, but he's 6-11 and had three rebounds and no blocks in 23 minutes in a game we got killed on the glass and gave up a ton of interior points. I know they do this gimmicky thing of listing Waterman as a guard, but if his game is going to give us an average guard impact, I'd rather just have Brandon get the bulk of those minutes and leave the guard play to Fraser, Johnson, Rose, etc. Of course, it's early. I'm not passing judgement on him either way. Shame about Thompson. Whatever is going on, I hope things are going well for him outside of basketball. Hopefully we see a win today. Yesterday was embarrassing. Good, fair post. At 1:33 left in OT, there was a replay timeout. A camera shot of the Detroit huddle shows Thompson in his own little world, in uniform, away from the huddle. I hope this young man gets the help he needs. I really think we win this one today convincingly - but wtf do know, it seems I'm always wrong predicting Titan games.

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more ...
Starters today are Davis, Fraser, Koka, Kuol, and Waterman.
So, Fraser starts in place of Johnson.

44-42 Kuol is keeping us in the game. Started hot, but started turning it over and let them back in it. TBD on which team and coach shows up for 2nd half.

Mike Davis is the angriest coach in America.

It's all about the flow of the game. Kampe does not have to do anything but stay consistent and let Davis coach himself right out of the game. Looks like we have acquired another 7' with absolutely no hands and then we try and throw him a couple of lobs. The only way he gets a lob is if someone else catches it and hands it to him. We get a 14 pt. lead and then Davis makes 3 substitutions. By the way the game is a lot more enjoyable watching with the sound off. At least you will not have to listen to the stupidity of our announcers. 2 days in a row our 7'1" guy has lost the opening tip to a 6'6" Oakland Frosh who is not a big leaper. Hunter and Coach Ray new what they were doing with this guy.

Yes I’m getting a little irritated with the announcers as well. On paper this team a lot better than last years team, but in all honesty had the group stayed together with an addition of a Kuol. We would be just as good or better than we are now.
FYI our grad transfer guards (Johnson/frazier) look to be in dog house, hasn’t seen floor in second half.

8 minute mark, in second half. Willy makes a rare appearance and takes a charge. These substitutions are so crazy. Everyone comes out but AD after a mishap!

Our announcers are awful. I am counting seconds until the next time I hear about "how unlucky we are that every opposing team hits mile-long threes" against us. Yeah, that's why we are where we are, bad luck.

"The Titans will go as far as Antoine Davis takes them."
That's the mindset that will keep this team in the bottom half of the Horizon.

Wow, instead of going man. we go 1-3-1 and they hit a corner 3. 83-80 them. 1.3 left. This is coaching! By the way, what do the rest of his assistants actually do. They sit and watch the games like spectators, and co-sign with him when mistakes are made. That’s the ball game!!
