I was doing some reading on Major-league baseball in the 1970s the other day and was surprised to learn that Dick Drago played at Detroit. I did some further research and learned the program was eliminated in 2004 or thereabouts. Where did they play? Any chance of it ever being reinstated, playing perhaps at the Hamtramck Field when that is finally renovated?

A mid-1970s upgrade (the Campbell Complex I think it was called) offered a nice aluminum seating area around the infield. I heard someone tell me U-M’s Bill Freeham once hit a home run to left field that bashed Calihan Hall.
