Is that for a one year contract? Seems like a waste of money.

Is that for a one year contract? Seems like a waste of money. You never know. It could turn out to be a waste. Kansas paid a ton of money out in payroll last season and had a bad season, by Jayhawk standards. This new age of NCAA sports gives college athletes what NFL, MLB, NBA, Soccer, and other pros have enjoyed for a long time: the potential to be overpaid for underperforming.

We are the school for small fast guards. Great to see a kid from a program like Renaissance commit so early. It can only help our further recruiting efforts, especially when guys will know who is going to be getting them the ball in transition. Hope springs eternal. Wondering what #3 thinks of Stone? If he's even half the player...

Lance Stone reportedly took an unofficial visit to U-D on September 9. That's good to see. And 11 months later, he's in the fold. There's a lot to like about this commitment. He's a highly regarded local player with lots of suitors, and a solid young man from what I have heard. Welcome, Lance.

Is said to have had offers from Toledo, High Point (a rapidly rising program), EMU, Drake, Morehouse State, and Vanderbilt.
