It's a win - it will help connect that side of downtown to Lafayette and the areas to the East, which is nice and has lots of residential. Plus will make Eastern Market that much more accessible by foot/bike/scooter from downtown as well. If you look at an overhead satellite view of the area, you'll see not just the footprint of 375, but also the spaghetti of ramps east of Ford Field that will also be eliminated.

That's the way I see it, and I lived Downtown for a lot of years. Looks like a real plus for the region.
