So, you're Milwaukee's AD, and starting to think about the off-season.
Do you: a. Fire Patrick Baldwin, Sr. at the end of the year, regardless of what Jr. does, knowing it means you lose Jr. even if he doesn't enter the draft (which after this year, he might not)?; or b. Wait and see what Jr. says he's doing?

Wait and see what Jr. says he's doing? Wednesday, ESPN posted an NBA mock draft for this June (full 2 rounds) - they had Baldwin at #15 & no Antoine Davis (which I personally agree with). I think it's definite that Baldwin goes pro (that's not a judgement as to whether he's ready or not), and I fire the father at the end of the season & don't even wait for the announcement

See were that takes me .

I guess Milwaukee didn't like my double down strategy. To bad for Milwaukee fans.

As Milwaukee says goodbye to the Baldwins, it's worth remembering that they fired Rob Jeter after a 20 win season. In his final six seasons with the Panthers, Jeter won 20 games three times, and 19 games once. Those six years saw the Panthers appear in the CBI, the NIT, and the NCAA tournament.
Baldwin was 57-92 during his Panther tenure.

Looks like they were smart and didn’t consult our guys on hiring practices.

Joey St. Pierre to transfer portal. Started 29 games, averaging 6.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.4 blocks. Jordan Lathon is also in the portal, transfer guard from UTEP, started 25 games, averaged 7.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 2.7 apg.
Also Samba Kane, 7-footer who transferred to Milwaukee from San Francisco but played in just 3 games due to toe injury.
As noted earlier, they join D'Andre Gholston and, presumably, Patrick Baldwin, Jr.

BTW, it's official, Milwaukee hired Bart Lundy as Coach. Lundy was Coach at D-2 Queen's College, where he was 218-63 since 2013, including 30-4 this year, losing in the Sweet 16 of the D-2 tournament. Before that he was an assistant for Buzz Williams at Marquette, Head Coach at High Point (96-87 in 6 seasons), and before that had his first head coaching job at ... Queens College, where he was 115-40 from 1998-2003.
At High Point, the team went from 7-20 to 19-11 in his first season, but didn't progress much from there, going 13-18, 16-13, 22-10, 17-14, and 9-21 before being fired.
Lundy is 50 years old.
