Is he related to former Country Day and CMU standout Mike Manciel?

Dad scored 1399 pts at CMU. Central also offered Mak. I am glad we were able to land him.

I'm hoping that Mak is back next season. He's a local kid who seemed excited about becoming a Titan. I like the idea of having those kind of players on the roster.
More important than that, however, is the fact that Mak played much better as the season went on. Still overcoming the injury that cost him 2022-23, he started the season slowly, not scoring his first field goal until game four and never hitting more than two field goals in any game until January 13. On that day, he had the first of two straight 16 point outings. From that point, he shot 44% from the floor for the final 15 games of the season, averaging 8 points per game while cracking double figures 7 times. He hit a decent 37% from three during that span, as well. Those numbers are well above his season percentages of 33% and 29%. He also hit 76% from the line for the year. His production and minutes were inconsistent, but that's not unusual for a former JUCO player in his first year of D1 ball. Overall, I saw a lot I liked and I think he is capable of a big step up next season.

Not surprised that Stone and Tank are planning to enter the transfer portal. In addition to Manciel, I'm hoping the new coaching staff will evaluate and consider several other players for the 2024-25 roster; Tchikou, Kuac, Hurst, Johnson, and Oaks.

I think Mak can contribute considerably more than he did this year. Thanks for the splits, Sam.

Mak should be a better player than Tank next year. Tank shows how putting more effort in a game can make a big difference. Mak defiantly has more raw talent to work from.
