Is it possible Oaks is already on campus and will be playing as a Titan soon? I checked the prep school roster in Cal. Where he is supposed to be and he is not listed on the roster

Where he is supposed to be and he is not listed on the roster If he is enrolling and going to be added mid-year, now is the earliest possible time he can be on campus because Sunday the 17th is the first day he can practice and travel with the team. I do not expect any formal announcement by the school until tomorrow at the earliest. |

Meanwhile, has anyone picked up Oaks? If so, I missed it. I haven't heard of any commitment by Oaks. The only ones I've seen are: Stone to WVU Mark T to Alcorn State Olajuwon to a JUCO Ammori to UM-D. |

Another mystery. He's a guy who I thought would have been scooped up relatively quickly. I know he had some injury issues, and seemed overmatched at times. However, he also put up 5 points and 2 blocks in 12 minutes, during his college debut on the road against a WCC team. LMU had some big veterans in that game, too: 6-8 225, 6-8 235, 7-1 245, 6-6 240, 7-1 260. He followed that up with 7 boards in 17 minutes at CMU and 4 boards and a block in 8 minutes against on the road against Final Four participant NC State.
Totals for the first three games after being thrown to the wolves midseason on the road against teams from the WCC, MAC, and ACC: 37 minutes, 3-7 from the floor (1-2 from distance), 10 points, 12 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 turnovers. Also, 6-10, 210. There are plenty of guys on rosters now who didn't put together a stretch like that, especially someone with four years of eligibility remaining. I wonder if he had the same agent as Tank.
Per PTCTitan, Monty was interested in keeping Tank around. Looking at it strictly from a basketball perspective, I would expect that Oaks was welcome back if he he wanted to come back. Like the Commish said about Tank, I would have liked Oaks back, but it won't make or break the program in the long run.
