The Lady Titans were as cold as the weather at Oakland and they face a tough battle next Thursday. It is going to be tough to recover from what was one of their most disappointing results of the year and get ready to face Green Bay Thursday.
Green Bay's net ranking is currently 31. Yes, 31 an area unheard of for a HL men's team in recent years. There is a chalk talk by Kate before the game in the Titan Club room. It will be interesting to hear how she plans to attack and stop the Green Bay juggernaut. The word is out that if you can stop our inside game, we struggle from outside. I have a lot of confidence in Kate and the team, but Green Bay is an awful high mountain.
Go Titans.

Despite the tremendous improvement by WBB in the current season versus last year, the results against CSU and GB (and MSU) show us how much more progress must be made by the women's team to be able to compete for the league title. I'm confident that Coach Achter relishes this challenge. It's a doubleheader game with the men. I hope the women bounce back with authority tomorrow against UWM and also impart to the men the extra energy needed to secure an upset W against YSU.
Go Titans!

This is just a tough league this year in Women's basketball. Today Green Bay lost at Oakland 83-81. On the other hand, the women's exciting and victorious finish did not do much to inspire the men today.
