I agree with Larry, pull out all the stops. Ask fans to bring a rabbits foot, four leaf clover, etc. Maybe with 500 fans a the IUPUI game the team will rise to the occasion. Buy a couple of spots on WDFN and on 1500AM .Free will even resonate with the curious. Someone please awaken Vowels from his slumber and announce free admission to the remaining games. What's to lose? The program raised ticket prices at the beginning of the season. I was also told that except for very limited situations, the policy in place was to not give away complimentary tickets for MBB, even to youth groups. All this was an attempt to generate more revenue from gate receipts.

That means more pepperoni pizza for Vowels and Garibaldi!🤔 It’s obvious those two geniuses were sleeping in Class! I am not a fan of Bakari, but I remember throwing out a suggestion for him for one of these spots and some egg head down there responded with a statement that he couldn’t handle the job because he didn’t have his doctorate! A doctorate doesn’t garner any business or common sense!!! 🤷🏻♂️

Being winless after 26 games is a very limited situation. Announce retirement/resignation/termination for Vowels and the Davis family as soon as the season ends.

Announce it before the game and I’ll be there with bells on. Heck I’ll have a massive tail gate going on before the game. It’ll be the best attended game all year celebrating the end of vowels / Davis.

Open the gates for the rest of the season, free seats, free parking a hot dog and coke, give away a tee, and start the process of coming back, make the place fun for families and schools, with fun halftime games and when the come back comes some fans will be there.

I think we need to make a move that a program intent on winning would make... and that is undoubtedly relieving the AD and head coach of their duties following the season. I get it that some would like to see some players come back. They may leave or they may come back, regardless. I agree that we've got some potential D1 contributors on the current team. All that said... Personally, I'm not keeping on a coach because I'm hoping to see a guy shooting 28% (21% from deep) & playing on a winless team come back for his senior season. I think the coaching/AD decision is much too critical to take stuff like that into account. I was actually thinking more of Tank and Hurst, but point taken. I wouldn't use "if Davis leaves Mak won't come back" as the deciding factor in the retain or fire decision. In Mak's defense, I expect him to be a better player next year than he has been, considering that he should be fully healed from the Achilles injury that caused him to miss a year and should benefit from a year of D1 experience. I guess part of my thinking is that if nothing else, he's averaging 9.78 ppg the past nine games, a much better stretch than the start of the year. I think he'll be better. But, I still agree that his status won't be the determining factor in whether or not Davis is brought back. Got ya. I agree that I'd prefer to have Mak on the team next year. He could be a big time contributor. I really am not concerned about player retention at all at this point. I want Vowels on down let go.

Anybody willing to drive to Calihan Hall and watch this product for the rest of the year should not pay a cent for parking or at the gate. Just sell those 40 pizzas, soda and popcorn and call it a win.

Coach Davis might still have a year left on his contract. However most assistant coaches are year to year. If Davis choses not to leave time for a new staff IMO. One way to force the issue.

Why don't you ask them to pay for your gas, too, while you're at it? And a free dime bag for after the game? Your price to attend is too cheap.

May cause a backup at the door though with the ticket attendant running everyone's address against PC Miler and doing the math for the mileage reimbursement. We should probably just stick to free tickets.

IUPUI is a BOGO event. Buy one ticket, get the second one free.

IUPUI is a BOGO event. Buy one ticket, get the second one free. How about they just let everyone in for free at this point. And hope people will spend money at the concession stand.

At least we're running a promotion that does nothing for a single. Lol.
Jesus, just decrease ticket prices at that point. Itd be nice to have 1000 fans in attendance at some point... if that is still possible.
Its Valentines Day, I'm sure many people have plans that dont include this game. Odds are decent that with the BOGO promotion we still draw less than usual.

Saturday against PFW is "Titan Winterblast," heavily promoted by Alumni Relations and usually boosts attendance by 400+ souls. We might get 1,000 fans for that game, probably our best crowd of the season.
