Down 18 in second half..closed it to 4….ran out of gas. Only bench players were Tobin and Kyle. Too many guys on the floor who are not a scoring threat. Looked like a good crowd. I thought that moment in the game was misplayed... at least based on the info I had at the time. We had fully grabbed momentum and were looking cohesive for the first time yall game. Stone and the guys were really playing well at that point and had IPFW on their heels. Stone hit a huge 3 to cut it to 4 and was either slightly hurt or just winded. He pulled himself from the game and we inserted Del Cadia. Before any play resumed... we called a timeout. Looked like we didnt want to play another second until Jayden was back on the floor. However, it killed our momentum entirely. We needed to keep pushing until FW called timeout. I believe that coming out of our timeout we had Stone... but they immediately went on an 8 or 10-0 run to negate all the work we had done.

Thank you Larry, for the update. As Titan forever mentions, we’re back to reality. Next up is the #4 team in the Horizon at home, then the #3 and #1 teams on the road. It's about to get even a bit more ugly before the season moves toward conclusion. Oakland just beat IUPUI by 48, I'm guessing the Titans will be similarly embarrassed against the current league leaders. Hey Bob, It was great to see some of the boys prior to the game. No one is happy with this.

`Except for AD's final home game, this was my first trip to the Hall in four years. There were 8 players on the bench that never made it to the floor. At the half 4 took of their sweet pants and sat on the bench with their playing uniform on, but were never called to play. Crowd size was good for what is a one win team. No depth equals no chance. Four of the seven that played scored a combined total of 12 points
Sitting behind the bench it was sad to watch Davis during many of the time outs yelling at his under maned team.

It was good talking to you after the game Joe. Hope to see you back in Calihan Hall next year (hopefully celebrating a win every now and then).

There is no defending the Davis’s and I am really getting sick and tired of hearing about Antoine! The stupid quote from Jr. about his conversation with Tankersley last year on how he had steak on the team and now he needed more potato’s. This guy would take a back seat intellectually to Mr. Potato Head. Looks to me like Tank doesn’t need 25 shots to score 24 points. Has anyone checked to see if Jr. even has a degree. When I listen to him on the radio it is really hard to believe he does! This guy is a disgrace to the University!!!

Stone missed that dun. That would have sent the run into the stratosphere Dunk Yeah. Was really hoping either he lay that one in or turn into Doug Anderson for a moment. That dunk attempt looked awkward from the start.

It is now impossible for us to match the 5 regular season wins of the 1987-88 Titans' team that actually did make it to the league finals by beating Evansville and St. Louis. Even if the 2023-24 Titans win out the season, they will have 4 regular season wins. This makes this team the least successful team of the modern era. In fact, the last time, a Titans team had less than 5 regular season wins was in 1934-35 when they were 4-10. In the modern era, those 4 wins were the equivalent of 8-9 wins on a 31 game schedule. The last time the Titans won only 1 game in the HL was 1991-92 when they were 1-9. The only win in 1991-92 was 93-88 at home over Xavier when we played at what was then called Cobo Arena.

From the school website: Davis Jr. earned his degree in Philosophy from UAB in 2010.

If you were at the game it's apparent that Mike Davis is an angry, angry man. He's angry at a team of his making and angry at the players he brought in. More than a disgrace, he is an embarrassment.
