The guy announcing the Titan Women is an absolute moron. If you were listening on the radio to him announcing you would have no idea what’s going on. Foul he is calling turnovers even though the official is definitely calling a foul. He has players making baskets and getting rebounds and they aren’t even on the floor. Must be another buddy of Vowels. I do not want Vowels and his team to go away angry I just want them to go away!!!

The TV announcers (both) are excellent. The gal is good and knowledgeable! The guy is enthusiastic and clueless! He over-talks his companion and is correct less than 50% of the time. I don’t think he could handle being the color commentator for the Saint Patty’s Day Parade in Corktown! |

Denny (the play-by-play announcer) knows the game, is prepared, knows both teams and understands that he is announcing for both teams (it's an HL broadcast). Tara (the color commentator) has college coaching experience and it shows: she dissects the plays, the players, the strategy and her info is very helpful.

You guys peak my interest in this with both sides being so different. I really want to listen to the women's basketball game to see which side is accurate in their depiction of these events.
I have a feeling it will be somewhere in the middle.

Nct I am not looking to sit and listen to a homer but the guy consistently is announcing something different than what is going on on the court. I like the announcer to announce the game not be a babeling motormouthed Moron.multiple times in the R Morse game he had players fouling and scoring baskets and they hadn’t been on the floor in 3-4 minutes. This is not the exception but the norm. Yes Tara is very good! You follow the program because you as an alum have an investment in the success of the University. I am a UD fan by choice! |
