The NET is BS. Indiana State has 28 wins and a 29 NET rank, but is not selected as an at-large. Izzo gets in with 19 wins and a 39 NET and gets a 9 seed. But JMU, which beat Izzo in November and has 31 wins gets a 12 seed. Then, the NCAA guy comes on and explains that Indiana State, which had 28 wins, had a weak non-conference schedule. But it still had a 29 NET!
Just come out and say that everything is stacked in favor of the Power schools and they are doing charity for 30+ win mid-majors even letting them have automatic bids.

Agree 100%. I am so tired of this "process" that they have to select the field. Year after year we are stuck watching a handful of at-best mediocre Power league schools, meanwhile a large number of non-Power schools have 28+ wins and have no chance of making the field. I would much rather watch a team that knows how to win games play than a team that just has a lot of money. It is also always convenient that when there are multiple really good non-Power schools they find a way to play each other in the first round, eliminating any chance of them going on a run against the big boys.

Virginia was selected over Indiana State. QED.
The NCAA is rotten and corrupt. And so are the power conferences.
