The high school sent a couple of players to the NBA, one of whom (Xavier Tillman) played at MSU 2017–2020.

Why would he not be on campus practicing and getting used to his new teammates and team that he announced he was 100% committed to?

Why would he not be on campus practicing and getting used to his new teammates and team that he announced he was 100% committed to? Umm, because it's one week after graduation and he was given the chance to play in a highly regarded high school all-star game in front of local crowds? I'm just spit-balling here, but that's my wild and crazy guess.

I don't think any of the recruits who might be taking summer classes would arrive on campus much before that date.

I'm assuming UP was making a tongue-in-cheek joke.
I have no idea how good we'll be next year and how long these guys will remain Titans, but at least we have high school guys coming in who are working to improve their games and who want to be HERE. We need guys who want to be HERE (even if they deviate enroute to play in an All-Star Game and come home with a trophy).

That’s how they become good programs. The last time we had a leader on this team was when Ray Jr. was here and he had most of the team together on campus cross training and playing in two summer leagues in A2 and Lansing. I think they were down at the Saint also. They were out on the field flipping tires and pulling weighted ropes. I wasn’t a huge Ray Jr. fan but he was a leader! I am not sure what went on when BA was here and Davis never had a team just a bunch of guys wearing similar uniforms, self promoting and sharing a ride to games.
