Where'd he play this past year? Some place called TLAP Sports Academy in Florida.

Promising insight from Steve Bell at Bank hoops on Miles... no date on article, seems maybe it is fall of 2022 heading into the 22/23 high school season. Sounds like a guy that does things down low with limited offensive upside, but the athletic'ness is something that can't be taught:
"Conversely, length and athleticism are Mitchell, who is 6-9 but just glides up and down the court. While Hollinger is Bedford’s go-to guy, Mitchell actually comes off the bench for Lincoln, indicative of the kind of depth and talent that has them a favorite in Division 2 come March. He is the prototype modern frontcourt defender with his bounce defending the rim, and how how quickly he can emerge from the paint to guard the perimeter, playing low and wide. Offensively he’s a dunk threat on the offensive glass or tee’d up from the Blackwell Bros’ penetration. Keeps the ball high on put-backs and tips, and on the defensive glass is conscientious tagging a man . If not dunking or shooting bunnies, his touch tends toward hard-handed. Can commit some silly fouls. Mitchell has high-end potential given he has traits in demand."

Miles was on the Warren Lincoln team with the Blackwell brothers, both of whom we have offered.

I really like the idea of having a front court player that can guard multiple positions!
Coach Montgomery On Mitchell: "Miles is a super athletic player that can guard four positions on the court. He has a ton of potential and can score inside and outside."

Maybe the year at TLAP was critical in that regard? Fingers crossed that he adds on the offensive end as well. I'm picturing a similar game to Blackshear tho I have no basis for that. If he can score from outside, he sounds like a better shooter than Gerald.

Went to youtube and searched his name, first video of him i clicked he took and made 3 shots, all of them 3-pointers. Based on his build and what i saw in that video I would not be surprised to see him developed as a wing more than a big.
