If Ishiba did want to help the program $300000 this year would probably get us Sissoko, Hoggard and Stone and a trip to the NCAA tourney. He would be helping his friend Monty and UD. Next year he could drop down to $250000 and $ 200000 the next year. $750000 would probably pull this program right out of the gutter!

Given what we have already raised since Monty was announced, if just 200 fans would sign up for the Antoine Davis level membership in the Collective, we would have the bandwidth to do that deal without Ishbia plus pay high mid major NIL to others. Just sayin ... You don't always need the sugar daddy to do competitive NIL contracts.

Does Ishiba have a connection to the University? I do not believe there is any type of connection. I believe his connection, now, is his close relationship with Coach Monty. It’s great that he’s expressed support for Coach but it’s entirely different to actually offer large sums of money. We should all follow PTC’s lead and bring the NIL project to life, with our individual donations.

The former Michigan State point guard on Saturday said he plans to play next season at Vanderbilt.
Hoggard chose the Commodores out of a final five that also included USC, Georgia, Washington and Florida.
