Catholic Central. Had a preferred walk-on offer at Southern Cal and a scholarship offer to Bowling Green.

Wow, first four commitments all have no prior college experience. What a change in recruiting approach from the Davis years.

This is exactly the type of recruiting I like to see, rogobob, young players who want to stay local and grow with the program. We watch many UD games in person and many State games on tv. Sossoko has drawn many a complaint at my house the past 2-3 years. Just sayin'

Just sayin' Sissoko would own the horizon league, enaruna and Townsend gone there’s not a returning intimidating big in the league outside of maybe Conway. As for the CC kid picking to go to Detroit mercy over USC is insane, even if he never would have touched the floor. That’s a huge accomplishment for the program in its current state.

A scholarship at Detroit Mercy vs. walk-on at USC -- an $80,000-a-year difference. Plus, he'd miss the snow.

For me, it's more important that Todd Simon at Bowling Green offered him a scholarship, too. Also, I wonder if his father and Greg Wendt were teammates at CC back in the day.
